7thSense announced the release of its newest media server product, R-Series 8. R-Series 8 is designed to be a flexible mid-range 3U media server to cater to the needs of generative projects and mid-range media-based attractions. R-Series 8 will officially debut at the 7thSense stand (#5G110) at ISE 2024.

As the second release in the R-Series from 7thSense, the R-Series 8 hardware it will use the same tech that’s driving the R-Series 10 hardware, which powers the Sphere Las Vegas and many other high-profile attractions globally.

In addition to media playback applications, R-Series 8 can run generative engines like Unreal Engine and Unity. The hardware also supports ST 2110 and NDI streaming network video, Delta Media Server, Notch and TouchDesigner applications.
