Roland Releases BRIDGE CAST X Desktop Interface for Gaming, Livestreaming

Roland

Roland announced BRIDGE CAST X, the latest addition to the BRIDGE CAST products for online gaming and livestreaming. BRIDGE CAST X is a desktop interface and connection hub that allows streamers to simplify setups and improve their content by giving them USB-C, HDMI, and audio ports and an XLR mic input, assignable control pads, and support for thousands of royalty-free backing music titles via the BGM CAST service on Roland Cloud.

BRIDGE CAST X has two USB-C ports, two HDMI inputs, and an HDMI Thru connector to feed an external gaming monitor. This connectivity supports a variety of applications, allowing the user to freely combine computers, gaming consoles, and high-quality cameras to suit their live video workflow. Six assignable control pads are on hand to enhance streams, providing quick triggering of sound effects, background music, OBS commands, and more.

BRIDGE CAST X includes all the audio connectivity and mixing features from the BRIDGE CAST Dual Bus Gaming Mixer, a sister product with a sound-focused toolset. Users can connect a broadcast-quality XLR mic and headphones and create independent sound mixes for personal monitoring and online streaming. The personal mix can prioritize game audio and voice chat, while the stream mix can be optimized for maximum viewer engagement. Control is easy and efficient with dedicated volume knobs and assignable buttons for muting sounds and accessing various functions.
