The Daily Raff: ISE 2024 Day 3 Thoughts

steph beckett omer brookstein

Well, somehow we’ve made it to Day Three. And if you’re thinking, “the crowds may have thinned now,” you’re very wrong. The crowds have not thinned in most halls — it’s stayed consistently busy. If you have to get across Hall 3 for any reason, good luck.

I actually spoke to Mike Blackman, managing director of Integrated Systems Events today on rAVe [TV]. He told me the numbers for attendance are already increasing, and it’s already reached the number from last year. Due to demand, ISE 2025 will be even larger. So, mark your calendars, people. ISE 2025 will be Feb. 4-7, 2025. Our team can’t wait.

Speaking of that, our video shooters are absolutely KILLING it. We have already shot over 1,400 product videos and we are in the process of getting those put on the site now. (I think there are ~500 on there right now, but the titling process takes significant time and brainpower.) We hope to be done uploading them by Monday, because if we have 1,400 right now — I can only imagine how many we’ll have by the end of tomorrow evening.

I’m going to be honest, most of my day was not spent looking at products. It was ensuring that all the steps of the above process were going smoothly and correctly. When I wasn’t doing that, I was grabbing some executive interviews with really great folks at NETGEAR, Philips and AVI-SPL. These interviews are, of course, ways for these companies to get the word out about their products, strategies and more, but they’re also an opportunity for me to learn. The questions I ask people are always things I actually want to know!

Anyway. Tomorrow I am going to spend some time getting to know even more products. I have my eye on HOLOPLOT’s audio demo. (This is the company behind the audio at the Las Vegas Sphere.) This demo provides a “sound to every seat” experience — a 3D audio technology. I’m interested to find out more about how HOLOPLOT brought this experience to ISE.

Here’s What the Las Vegas Sphere Looks Like Inside and Why It Sounds So Good
